Atalasoft's Steve Hawley is Named as a Massachusetts Top Coder

Easthampton, MA – August 17, 2007 – Steve Hawley, chief architect at Atalasoft, Inc. in Easthampton, was recently named as one of four top coders of Massachusetts as published in a recent issue of Mass High Tech. Steve started writing software in high school and developed programs that helped him pay his way through college. He went on to work for companies such as Bell Labs and Adobe Systems and even had a teaching position at Smith Academy in Hatfield, MA.

Hawley has been an integral part of the development team at Atalasoft in Easthampton. He is currently the chief architect there at what he explains is one of the fastest-growing startups in Western Massachusetts. "I'm a 20+ year veteran of the software industry and have targeted platforms with as few as 64 bytes of RAM up to gigabytes," explains Hawley. "I've written code that has been ported to several operating systems and processors, and above all, I really like this stuff."
